Playing dress-up is any girl’s favorite pastime — why not play dress-up for the entire wedding party? With an inventory of over 40 themed backdrops, along with period style clothing and wedding dresses to rent, your clients can create the wedding of their dreams for a fraction of the cost.

The Theme Wedding Event should include food from the time period or country, as well as music to create the perfect ambiance. ABA would love to help create this total event, offering catering, wedding cakes, mood lighting and talented musicians. The mood can be set with theme invitations and “save the date” postcards. Photographers can dress the couples in theme clothes on the postcard or invitation. The chosen colors can be orchestrated with flowers, table decorations and theme backdrops for photos that will never be forgotten! Instead of ordinary group family photos, imitate Prom Night (which some of us loved and others want to forget)! The idea is the art of the moment.

Create an unforgettable event with half the cost. Why spend the entire budget on a dress that is worn one time and packed away or sold to a second hand shop? Spread the budget over the entire event to create the most memorable time of your clients’ lives. (They might even learn a bit of history while researching and creating this new idea.) Tie in family history and background to make it even more personal and meaningful. How many of us have those family heirlooms hiding away? Bring them out to enhance the theme idea and involve the entire family in the planning of the event. Hire a videographer to record the history of weddings in the family, or do it yourself!  Bring out the buried pictures and create a family PowerPoint. So many memories are lost; this could be the time to record them. Set up an LCD projector and screen and play this during the reception. Make Grandma Emily a star! Maybe the heirloom wedding dresses could come out of the closet for the event. The possibilites are endless. Just brainstorm with your bride and groom and see what uniqueness can be created!
